Relationship Counseling in Seattle
What’s the Process?
In the first session, all members of the relationship will be present to share your story and talk about what’s been challenging lately. We’ll begin identifying goals for counseling so we have a clear sense of what progress might look like.
After the first session, I’ll meet individually with each partner. This isn’t a space for keeping secrets, but rather a chance to share things that might not feel comfortable to say in a group setting just yet. It also helps me better understand each person’s perspective on what’s happening in the relationship.
After that, we’ll come back together as a group to refine your goals and determine the best path forward. This process is collaborative—you are the experts on your own lives, and you’ll ultimately be the ones making the changes.
Every Relationship is Unique
Supporting couples and polycules as they navigate challenges is one of the most rewarding and meaningful parts of the work I do. A healthy, generous relationship can be one of the most powerful contributors to a fulfilling life. On the flip side, challenges in a relationship can feel deeply painful—especially if you’ve been feeling stuck for a long time. I’m glad you’re taking the time to explore whether counseling could be helpful.
My work is queer-, kink-, and poly-affirming. Being inclusive of non-monogamous relationships is why I describe myself as a “Relationship Therapist,” rather than strictly a “Couples Therapist.”

Non-Monogamous Relationships
No two relationships are the same, and you have the ability to create a structure that works for you and your partners. I believe non-monogamy is a valid and meaningful relationship structure for many people.
Whether you’re exploring if non-monogamy could work in your current relationship, or you’ve been polyamorous for years, I offer a judgment-free space to talk through the joys, challenges, emotions, and decisions that come with different relationship structures.
Relationship counseling can include couples, polycules, and other relationship constellations—all in the same room when helpful. Sometimes, getting everyone together creates the most clarity and momentum.
